Orrin Woodward & Dale Carnegie

I found the following in Carnegie's wonderful book, "How To Win Friends and Influence People", one of Orrin Woodward's "Top 5" books:

"You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world's happiness now. How? By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged. Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime." -- Dale Carnegie

How often we forget the power we have. Thanks Orrin, for all the times you've given me that word of encouragement I needed to hear.

What if every one of us gave a few sincere words of encouragement every time we talked to another. What kind of world could we create?
